42nd World Congress of the International Committee of Military Medicine (ICMM) hosted by the Armed Forces Medical Services, Ministry of Defence, India, in accordance with the statutes of the Secretariat General of the ICMM was held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, India from 19th to 24th November, 2017.
The central theme of the Congress was 'Military Medicine in Transition: Looking Ahead'. The broad subjects under the central theme are Terrain specific military medical support: challenges and solutions; Health protection and promotion in the military environment: experiences and best practices; Combat medical support: technological advances and implications; and Humanitarian aid and disaster relief: implications of a changing global scenario.

The 38th Asian Conference on Remote Sensing (ACRS-2017) was successfully held during 23-27 October 2017 at Hotel The Ashok, New Delhi, India. ACRS-2017 representing a major event in the long series of successful ACRS conferences. The ACRS 2017 was inaugurated by Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of State (independent Charge), Ministry of Atomic and Space Research in august presence of Sh. A S Kiran Kumar, Chairman, ISRO. ACRS-2017 was organized by Asian Association on Remote Sensing (AARS), Indian Society of Remote Sensing
(ISRS) and Indian Society of Geomatics (ISG) and co-hosted by Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), Government of India. The main theme of the conference was “Space Applications: Touching Human Lives”.
The ACRS-2017 brought together 967 eminent scientists, engineers, students, researchers, policy makers, professionals and practitioners from more than 53 countries all over the world to share insights into the challenges and opportunities of Remote Sensing and related geospatial technologies in building resiliency and encouraging inclusive economic growth in one, dynamic Asia. About 38 Exhibition stalls were occupied by 19 industries and research organizations from India 13 from abroad. The conference witnessed various, Visit/Field Excursion/Sightseeing, Cultural Evening depicting indian Heritage, Students Night, AARS General Conference, Side meeting, ISPRS Summer School and much more.
The conference was credited as a huge success in the linage of ACRS series and stood at the first place in terms of no. of countries participated in a single conference, which was appreciated a lot by all participants from around the world. The delegates were overwhelmed by the Indian hospitality and food served in a grand old venue like Ashoka Hotel, New Delhi.
The 78th Skal International World Congress at Hyderabad from 5th to 09th October 2017 was attended by a large contingent of foreign delegates together with Indian participants. Nearly 600+ participants representing 300 Clubs and 60 countries attended a very successful event.
The Business to Business Workshop (B2B) and trade show powered by UBM took place at the close of the Travel Forum with reserved tables where members could promote their company and do business with each other. The highlight of the Congress was that the entire proceedings was covered live vide Web Link to 85 Countries and was watched by all 15,000 members of SKAL besides other members of Travel and Tourism community.
The 28th Congress of the Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology (APAO) in Hyderabad, India, held in conjunction with the 71st Annual Conference of the All India Ophthalmological Society (AIOS), was a truly international event, attended by over 7,500 registrants. The President of India, Chief Minister and Governor of Andhra Pradesh had inaugurated the event.
APAO-AIOS 2013 threw light on the recent advances and latest developments in the field of Ophthalmology and provided an opportunity for the participants to interact, discuss, exchange ideas with international ophthalmic experts. Trade exhibition showcasing the modern surgical equipment and instruments was also held concurrently. Over 800 world-renowned guest speakers addressed the congress in which scientific activities were organised in 20 halls.
Tex-Trends India 2011 was an initiative by the Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India with financial assistance under the Market Access Initiative (MAI) of Ministry Commerce & Industry Govt. of India. AEPC the largest export promotion council has been extended the task of lead agency to organize this exhibition alongwith other Textile Export Promotion Councils of India. It is a proactive effort to bring under one roof the diversity, tradition and colours that the Indian textile and handicrafts industry offer.
We conducted road shows in 10 cities across India and Alpcord senior official gave presentations to the Press along with Export Promotion council official from Textile Ministry to promote more exhibitor sign ups and visitors registrations.
